Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we were immersed in our father’s screen printing business. From a young age, we eagerly helped out wherever we could, learning the ins and outs of the industry. Our parents also shared their talent for creating stunning hand-sewn, hand-cut felt crests.
Years later, as we ventured into our own careers, the whispers of our Métis heritage lingered in the background. Curiosity sparked, and one of my sisters took on the monumental task of tracing our family tree. Her dedication and research paid off when she became the first member of our family to receive Métis citizenship. Inspired by her journey, we followed suit, and now we proudly hold our own Métis citizenship.
This pivotal moment led us to the birth of White Bison Clothing Co. Combining our passion for the decorated clothing business with our desire to celebrate and honor Indigenous culture, we set out to create a line of clothing with a focus on Indigenous themes. Our vision is to merge traditional Indigenous elements with modern designs, creating unique and meaningful pieces that reflect our heritage and inspire others to embrace their own cultural connections.
