Wearable Memories & Keepsakes

Wearable Memories is an Australian home-based business, located in the Lake Macquarie area in NSW. Our focus is to create custom handmade keepsakes, jewellery, and accessories.

We handmake keepsakes, jewellery and accessories of solid silver or solid gold rings with a choice of shapes, round, oval, heart or teardrop, rings are individually made to your size. We also make pendants, lockets, beads, keyrings to name a few.

DNA keepsakes, jewellery and accessories can contain a lock of hair, cremation ashes, breast milk powder, umbilical cord, baby’s tooth, fur, feathers and more, the choice is yours to decide what DNA inclusion of your loved one is special to you.

Keepsakes, jewellery, and accessories can be created to celebrate significant times in your life, such as the birth of a child using a lock of hair and a colour that is special to you and your baby. Most people select the traditional pink for a girl or blue for a boy.

We pride ourselves on the care taken and respect given to your loved one’s DNA inclusion to create a special piece for you to carry with you or to wear on those special occasions of remembrance of birthdays and anniversaries.

DNA inclusions are encapsulated in resin along with your choice of adornment to customize your memorial piece. These include favorite colour, glitter to match, gold, or silver foil, coloured shimmer to enhance your colour choice or flecks of colour or iridescence giving a specific finish. This allows us to create a DNA memorial keepsake that is personal and meaningful to you and significant to your loved one.

We also create handmade non-DNA keepsakes, jewellery and accessories that will connect you to memories of a time, place, or event. Inclusions in these pieces can be dried flowers, leaves, sand, soil, fabric, lace, shells, wood or whatever is special to you and your memories. Creating non-DNA keepsake, jewellery or accessory allows you to wear, carry or to hold these memories wherever you are.

We show the same care and respect for your loved one’s non-DNA inclusions to ensure you have a special memorial piece to carry or wear.

Non-DNA keepsakes, jewellery and accessories can also be customized by including your favorite colour, glitter, foil, or flecks to make your memorial piece unique to you and your memories.

Our promise to you is to treat your DNA or non-DNA inclusion with care and respect. When sending inclusions, we need only a small amount to create your memorial keepsake, and we will return any left-over inclusion to you.

As each keepsake, jewellery piece or accessory is hand made to your special inclusions, and therefore cannot be duplicated.

All keepsakes, jewellery and accessories are sent in a presentation box along with a handmade linen gift pouch to enhance your special memory.
