You will get to know the origins of mezcal and the importance of this drink in Mexico. How types of agaves exist, the process of making Mezcal, and the important and substantial differences between mezcal and tequila.
We’ll start by explaining the protocol we are going to follow to drink it and how it is about the senses. We are going to feel, smell, observe and taste it.
Mezcal is a very complex drink and you will be challenged to identify the different flavors and notes. You will taste a variety of mezcales from our exclusive selection. You’ll learn the difference between artisanal, ancestral, and industrial mezcal.
You will also experience my video of the Mezcal-making process to see the fascinating techniques used in transforming agave juice into the deeply spiritual spirit of Mezcal.
