Trident Physical Therapy

We provide high quality Physical Therapy to patients in Lawrenceville, GA, and surrounding areas. This is our mission. We refuse to accept anything that isn’t consistent with our mission. Trident strives to help patients get back to normal, as defined by each patient, and maintain a high level of function. We do this by creating a personalized plan of care in a one-on-one setting. No patient will ever share their time with another patient, leading to high quality of care. We are completely dedicated to helping Lawrenceville, and surrounding areas, optimize their health without sacrificing quality of care.

High quality physical therapy, to us, means the following:

1. During your treatment, patients have the complete attention of your therapist, and your therapist’s time isn’t shared with another patient. This is commonly referred to as “One-on-One”. We personalize, we educate, and adjust as necessary. Direct Attention is certainly required.

2. Treatment is goal oriented. Common goals include returning to a sport, learning to run or walk again, reduce pain, sleep effectively, or “simple” functions like being able to brush your teeth. Regardless of the goal, high quality physical therapy identifies each patient’s goal and treats according to that goal.

3. Treatment is completed with a highly educated and trained physical therapist. Our owner and physical therapist is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with an Orthopedic Certified Specialty. It’s important that your plan of care is both designed and completed by a highly trained physical therapist for the most effective treatment.

Trident’s Owner and physical therapist is Dr. Kimberly Stanford who typically goes by Kim. She was born and raised in Barbados and moved to the United States, after being offered a Division I Women’s Track and Field scholarship to Rice University. There, she competed in the 100-meter hurdles while earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University and decided to pursue a Postgraduate Residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy with an emphasis in spinal rehabilitation.

Trident treats most joint pains, sports injuries, chronic pains, and post-surgical operations. Examples includes:

Joint Pains: Neck pains, lower back pain, shoulder pain, and knee pain
Sports Injuries: Sprain ligaments, strained muscles, achilles tendon injury, rotator cuff injuries, knee injuries
Chronic Pains: Arthritis, nerve pain, and headaches stemming from neck pain
Post-Surgical Operations: Rotator cuff repair, ACL or ligament repairs, knee or other joint replacements.
Our patients are not transactions. As a small business, we place a high value on building relationships. Our goal is to be a trusted part or our community which means education is a huge part of what we do. We help patients understand that physical therapy is an effective alternative to traditional medicine.

Diib Reviews by our featured members:

"Diib provides a great overview of where our website needs the most attention. Without the Diib, I wouldn't know where to start to improve our online presence. Also, I know that I'm getting recommendations consistent with other business. Diib helps to eliminate too much human judgement, but also utilizes enough human resource to personalize our experience."
