The Joy Room Chicago was born in October 2020 during global pandemonium with the assignment of bringing peace ease, joy, safety, connection, and opportunities to the lives of its visitors. Intended as an intimate gathering space and incubator for creators that share in its mission, The Joy Room Chicago is a favorite location amongst wellness practitioners, community builders, entrepreneurs, and movers and shakers throughout Chicagoland.
Michelle Morales (she/her) is joy curator and owner of The Joy Room Chicago in Portage Park at Six Corners. She is a boy mom, Taurus, risk-taker, fear-blaster, and (wo)manifestor that takes pride in the offering of sacred physical land for folks to shine and thrive.
