Thai Language Hut

We teach people from all walks of life with varied reasons for learning the Thai language or the English language. We have worked directly with most Embassies, NGOs, large corporations – including Airlines and other MNCs, and many smaller businesses in Bangkok.

We are unique in our approach. We approach each student’s needs as individuals and develop flexible training plans to meet their needs in terms of availability and skills output. Training can be stopped, started, increased, or decreased depending on the needs of the student. Further, all training is open for one calendar year. We are exceptionally student-focused.

Thai Language Hut was set up as a Thai and English Language Consultancy specifically to offer 1-to-1 teacher-led training. The school was set up offering just private classroom training to individuals and corporates. This was extremely successful so we added private group corporate training. However, the lack of flexibility in classroom training and the truly terrible Bangkok traffic meant busy business people and ex-pats were missing a large number of their lessons. So, then in 2009, we introduced teacher-led private Online training. We combined this with classroom training for busy travelers and those not conveniently based in Bangkok. We were the first school to offer Online Thai training worldwide.

In 2019 we moved to just deliver Online training. We saw high demand and this combined with the maturity of the online applications and networks made it an easy decision.

Thai Language Hut has found learning Thai and English languages is most successfully developed through 1-to-1 teacher-led training. Tone, pitch, pronunciation, and grammar rules can be learned more confidently with 1-to-1 training. In our virtual classroom, you do not have to share your teacher with other students. This allows us to focus solely on the most important aspect of teaching, you and your needs only. We are pleased to say that our results speak for themselves. Most students repeat book and are now speaking, reading, and writing at all levels and are enjoying the experience. We have a re-booking ratio of 80%.

Materials used are from either Cambridge University Press for English language training or Paiboon Publishing for Thai languge training. We adapt these materials for use by our students. All materials and exercises are closely monitored to assess progression. We work closely with Benjawan Poomsan Becker the highly influencial Thai author of Paiboon Publishing. Like Benjawan we have an enthusiasm and passion for the Thai and English languages.

We teach the Thai language mainly to Westerners and English to Thai nationals where we can add most value and accelerate student learning successfully.
