Texas Laser Marking / Lase-It

I am an extremely seasoned veteran of laser marking, starting with its infancy in the 70’s, when only 7 companies worldwide offered the equipment at `$80,000, Siemens, AB Laser, and Control Laser, the last whom I operated the sales justification lab for nine years. Also so performed field service of the same equipment in complex situations, and the same for Control Micro Systems, both located in Orlando Florida, this between the years of 1979 and 2005 for these corporations. In 1987 I opened my own Industrial Laser Marking job /contract shop which ran for fourteeen years, served Ford, IBM, Cardiac Pacemaker, Snap-On-Tools, Arthrex – the medical industry being my biggest customer, toolery and implants. In those days, it was ID, whether alpha-numerics, barcodes, QRcodes, and logos. Very little artistic applications for decades, however in 1990 I was involved in the backlit Christmas ornament patent (Robert Van Wyk) sold to major retailers, and before that in 1986 produced some of the first floating images inside plastic (lucite) and crystal blocks that you see all over the internet nowadays. Ha, in 2006, a Federal lawsuit had arisen over who owned a patent on that and I had lawyers from opposing clients come to my mom’s barn because I had the functioning machine (Control Laser Corporation InstaMark Elite, $60k then) the exact same one from the lab I had bought in 1990, and performed tests for them, and have the transcripts from one lawyers visit. In the field of laser marking I was responsible for the sale of thousands, yes thousands of laser marking systems to American industry. That specific career ended in 2005, I closed my job shop in 2001, and moved back home to Texas. That year with two employees I grossed $285,000 and netted $140,000. I have the accountants paperwork. I brought the ma-chines to Texas, began to operate with but experienced a horrific theft, which halted my pursuit at that time. In the following I closely followed some MAJOR changes, machine costs going down incredibly, 25%, 50%, 75% with the evolution of fiber optics / LED technologies. Industries buying these up ‘a dime a dozen’ whereas in the past Boeing, Nissan, Johnson & Johnson had walked out the door from vendors of such equipment because the cost too high. And also since 2004, EZCad made by JCZ created a newer software platform centered on artistry, graphics, easily manipulatable by the general public, further spawning ‘the rise of the machines’. In 2018 began saving to reinvest into this world, also recognizing that a small industrial demand still exists, as all companies may not want the red tape associated with laser marking and simply desire to outsource it. So, in 2023 I began spending dollars, and by 2024 acquired 6 high power laser systems, utilizing 3 different wavelengths, acquiring many accessories and mastering the new software packages, spending close to $25,000. Then I assembled a website (texaslasermarking.net), also list on FaceBook/Meta Business, Google Business Verified, and Yelp (other undevelop-ed ventures with X, Instagram and YouTube. Now I need help cuz the work IS NOT ENOUGH YET. I am 68 years old and its a new ball game, in the past I was one in a million. My dad deceased had built a facility for laser marking in 1993 as me in Florida was setting him up to mark hundreds of thousands of tool for Snap-On, he died. I am refitting that building out now in Dripping Springs, Texas, hope to be done by late fall. Right now I’m using an office in my Florence, Texas home for 5 of the lasers (crowded) and have one in Dripping Springs. Quite a bit of all this detail is in the rather Bio-heavy website. My Google Business is verified for Dripping Springs, ultimately I will move there in 2026, but I NEED AUSTIN, TEXAS traffic search results, I’d rather not but could set up part of my business at my niece’s house, located in Austin (with a laser too) for that AUSTIN search/traffic if the SEO world requires it. I would like to see you work wonders, I already canceled working two months with Top Tech Digital some time ago, too expensive as my income is infantile at present, there are 10-15 competitors in the 40 mile Austin radius.
