Main Services:

Tennessee Barn Doors

We hand-build every door and customize the size to fit every situation. We have a wide selection of doors from rustic type “barn doors” to modern glass and mirrored doors. Many of our glass doors include frosted glass and we are capable of adding logos to the frosting. We have been building and installing rolling doors for over 9 years. Our doors add a variety of benefits to any room, including a rustic or artistic look, and better utilization of space.

We also do very large custom-designed doors for hotels, restaurants, apartment complexes etc. We have provided doors to Hampton Inn, Hilton Hotels, Marriot, and State Parks to name a few. Our “commercial doors” are designed and built to meet Architectural requirements. We also work with owners, builders, and designers to meet desired requirements and offer advice. When providing large commercial doors for exterior use we design attractive metal corner plates that add to exterior longevity and look great.

With the increased need for “work at home” we have developed “inside the casing doors” that can close off a room (old living room or dining room) even if there is limited wall space. These doors sort of mimic the old-style glass bathtub shower doors. They both move to one side or the other. The difference is there is NO TRACK on the floor with our setup. These doors run smooth and with our installation, we completely hide the track so the look is spectacular. We have helped convert many dining rooms or living rooms into usable office space. The look can be modern with glass or rustic and everything in between.

We work closely with home builders to ensure the trim and installation methods meet their clients desired final vision. We visit the build site at various stages to make sure everything fits and functions as planned.

Our doors are built with a special frame unit that eliminates any warpage which is a common problem with “barn Doors”. Our rustic doors incorporate metal in the cross members adding a signature look to the doors. We add grids (muntins) to glass and mirrored doors in almost any configuration. We have two primary hardware suppliers and do not switch to the cheapest on the market but stick with our known quality suppliers. Our hardware runs very smoothly and lasts a lifetime. We also add a quiet track into every door that is hidden when installed. When shipping doors out of state we communicate with the out-of-state install team and guide them through the process. We have installed thousands of doors so are experts regarding installations.

As longtime carpentry and kitchen remodeling experts, our passion for doors began in 2013 when we shifted our focus from remodeling rooms to creating sliding, custom, rustic works of art. Ever since we began Tennessee Barn Doors, it is needless to say that we stopped remodeling kitchens, and only work on doors full time. We are dedicated to doors and have become experts in crafting and installing rolling doors.
