Sumatra EcoVentures is a small organisation running a sustainable ecotourism business in North Sumatra. The aim is that everyone involved will benefit. We not only offer trekking in the Gunung Leuser National Park but unique treks and tours in the bordering forests surrounding it. Sumatra EcoVentures has worked hard to build relationships with local people and communities to be able to bring the most authentic, sustainable and responsible trips in North Sumatra.
Main Services
The founder, Louise, is English with a Degree in Envirommental Biology and a Masters in Conservation Ecology. Louise has also worked with 2 Orangutans organisations in Borneo and Bukit Lawang, where she met, her now husband, in 2014. Together they have explored off the beaten places in North Sumatra, to be able to provide unforgetable adventures and trips for travellers.
