A Space where families, artists, and creatives gather, create, and share.
Willis Aybar has photographed hundreds of events in hundreds of locations in Baltimore and across the country over the past few years, he’s been in all the spaces from the most luxurious to the most budget-friendly.

Taking all of that experience plus constantly renting studios for photoshoots is how Studio 87 was born. He wanted a space where I can not only work and create but share and collaborate, and since then, the idea has evolved beyond that!

Since opening, we have helped local families, artists, non-profits, and small businesses, and continue to champion the term “Do What you Love ❤️”.

Studio 87 is a clean open space available for different types of rentals. The welcoming atmosphere and all-white aesthetic provide a blank canvas for my guests to do what they love.

Hi, my name is Willis Aybar and I’m the oldest of 4 boys, born in the Dominican Republic, raised in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Baltimore in late 2008. I’m a loving father, photographer, creator, and serial entrepreneur. I love creating, providing a 5-star experience, and helping as many people as I can.

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. It’s the only thing that came naturally to me.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been photographing, filming, and documenting my life and the lives of hundreds of clients and their families.

From their most special dates like weddings and birthdays to all types of events from corporate conferences to baby showers.

This has led me to travel and visit so many spaces all over the country and especially the DMV.

Studio 87 is a culmination of all my artistic pursuits, the good from all of the spaces and studios I’ve visited, packaged in an intimate space located in Dundalk, MD.

The ‘87 is simply the year I was born, in turn, I’m combining all my years of experience in the creative field and bringing a studio to life that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. It allows variety, a place to teach what I know, affordable studio rental, and more!

We have now had thousands of people visit Studio 87 and have a perfect 5-star rating cementing the quality of our services and the care for our people and their families. All of our clients have helped us further inspire others to do what they love.

The local community has hosted many private and social events in the space, even a 6th-grade graduation for children who didn’t get an opportunity to officially graduate in their own school.

Its been a joy and a journey to have this space in the Dundalk community and connect with several non-profits and everyday people who needed a place to celebrate, create and share with their loved ones.
