I am an artist based in the Southern Highlands of NSW. I relocated to the Southern Highlands after spending the 15 years in Tropical places. I work mainly in Acrylic on Canvas or , but also in Mixed Media on Paper. My subject matter varies, however is generally inspired by the natural world around me, often with a botanical focus and an occasional obsession with birds, bower bird bowers and nests. Tropical landscapes used to dominate the feel of the work, however since moing to the highlands, the earthier tones and different forms are creeping in. Each painting is a mapping of memory and impression of places around me, and places I have lived.
