Steven Edson is a professional travel photographer who is always looking to create fresh and authentic photographs for his clients projects. Born in New York City, he had his first commercial job at the age of 15 years old. Steve went on to receive a BFA degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a major in Studio for interrelated Media (SIM). From his early beginnings as a black and white street photographer, roaming and exploring New York City. He is passionate and love's to photograph people and their relationships to each other in remote, urban and rural environments. There is no cookie cutter approach on a shot list, as each situation has multiple solutions which Steve inevitably finds multiple perspectives in telling his clients vital stories. This approach allows for flexibility to respond to quickly changing environments and helps us to create unique and exciting images. From manufacturing to corporate to health care and scientific laboratories, to the person next door or half way around the globe, Steve brings back prize winning images for his clients to use. Steve thrives in chaotic situations while having the patience and vision to distill the essence of a project into engaging and dynamic images to assist clients with their story's, brands, services and products across print and digital media landscapes. Photography is a perfect medium for the 21st century. He is constantly amazed at various photographer's ability to convey information and telling complex stories about people, places, and objects and their relationships to each other within a single frame. As individuals respond to specific photographs, an image triggers and elicits feelings, thoughts, and dialogue with the viewer. Ultimately these kinds of interactions invoke the rich and dynamic power of the still photograph and the stories they impart.
