Stair Climbers

About Stair Climbers

Stair Climbers is an Australian company specialising in the sale of motorised stair climbing devices for both materials handling and personal mobility. We offer the widest range of stair climbing solutions in Australia and are committed to helping customers find the safest solution for their needs.

🏗️ Materials Handling

Our motorised stair climbers for materials handling can carry loads ranging from 70kg to 420kg, making them ideal for transporting:

Office supplies and archive boxes

Appliances such as washing machines and fridges

Commercial equipment like printers, motors, pumps, and server cabinets

Heavy-duty items including air conditioning units and plant machinery

Upright Trolleys

These are constructed from carbonised steel or aluminium, combining strength with portability.

For example, the Heft 180 has a 180kg capacity but weighs just 25kg, making it easy to lift into vans or utes.

Platform Trolleys

Built for heavier loads, platform models start at 310kg capacity and go up to 420kg.

The Stratos 400A features self-levelling tracks and automatic stabilising wheels that deploy when going over the top step.

The Stratos 420AX includes all the features of the 400A, plus a built-in platform lift that raises loads 90cm off the ground.

🧍 Personal Mobility & Evacuation

Stair Climbers also carries Australia’s largest range of powered personal mobility stair climbers, along with non-motorised evacuation chairs suitable for emergency situations.

Our personal stair climber range includes:

Kris Paediatric – Compact and ideal for children or smaller individuals; works well on narrow landings.

Kris II – A general-purpose powered stair chair, supporting up to 200kg.

Kris Flex – A transport-friendly option that splits for easy relocation.

Stair Glider – Our premium model offering maximum comfort and easy operation.

Jacob II Plus – A wheelchair lift designed to transport individuals in their wheelchairs up and down stairs.

We also offer a customised wheelchair transport solution, combining the Stratos 400A with a custom ramp/platform—suitable for both standard and motorised wheelchairs.
