Sonic Charters was started in 2013 in St Thomas with the goal to provide a better boat charter service to guests visiting St Thomas and St John. The competitive landscape at the time was full of older, tired boats and companies that had not adapted to the new wave of boaters. Owners Carrie and Morgan Locke set out to create a company with high-end boats, local captains, and curated itineraries to fit private groups of up to 12.
What started with one center console boat, evolved into the business that it is today- with 5 powerboats from 32′-58′ providing an option for all groups. Whether it be on our 37′ Intrepid Center Console, or 58′ Viking Princess Sport Cruiser, the ethos of the business remains and the Company strives to make each groups trip the best day of their vacation.
