Smarter Remodeling was created over 23 years ago to fulfill a need in the market for innovative and quality construction services.

Since then, we have completed hundreds of projects, from simple home renovations to major retail stores, and we have been recognized multiple times. Among those awards are: Entrepreneur of the Year – Rising Star category by the Hispanic Business Magazine and the Historic Preservation Award given by the Jacksonville Historical Society. In 2013 we were named the official General Contractor of the Jacksonville Sharks. In 2014 we were also named the Official General Contractor of the Armada FC, and in 2015 we were the highest rated contractor in Jacksonville by BuildZoom.
In 2016, 2017 and 2020 we were named among the fastest-growing companies in Jacksonville by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
2018 was an extraordinary year as we were inducted into the Remodeling Big50; for the first time in over 20 years, a company from Northeast Florida made the list.
The Big50 is a remodeling business excellence award for best practices recognizing companies that have set the standard for professionalism and integrity through smart marketing, exemplary business practices, unique design, and extraordinary impact on their community or the industry at large.
In 2022, we were included in the Inc5000, which lists the Fastest Growing Private Companies In America, an honor that placed us among the top .7% of companies in the country.
Our commitment to our customers has remained unchanged throughout the years, allowing us to stay competitive and in business during the worst recession this country has seen in decades. The last few years have been challenging for everybody, and the construction industry wasn’t an exception. We have suffered massive material shortages and a never-ending cycle of price increases.
