We believe tea should be affordable and accessible to everyone. We keep it simple and there is no judgement on how you take your tea. It is your cuppa!

Shibui is a Japanese word and is a way of describing something which appears simple but has a complex nature. We think that this sums up tea. Tea is just your regular cuppa to most people but look into it and there is so much more to experience.

We stock over 100 different blends and there is one constant – excellent quality. We pack loads of flavour in and consistently win Great Taste Awards. We are excited to offer you lots of blends that you won’t have tried anywhere else before and perhaps you will find a new favourite.

We really focus on quality and maximise the flavour in our tea. Each tea pyramid bag is filled with flavour and we have deliberately kept our branding minimal so we can let the tea do the talking. This is evidenced in the number of 5 star reviews we have on our website, and also the significant number of Great Taste Awards we have run in recent years.

We’ve also been working hard to reduce the plastic in our packaging and are pleased to say that our teas are available in compostable and/or recyclable packaging. We’re always looking at the packaging and it’s constantly evolving. That’s one of the best things about being a small business – we’re able to adapt very quickly. It’s also very important to make sure our teas are ethically sourced. We only work with partners which adhere to our own ethical expectations.

We are a proud member of 1% for the Planet. If you’ve not heard about it then it means that we have pledged to donate 1% of our annual sales to charities which help protect the environment. We can choose which charities we like to support and we’ve chosen a few which are close to our hearts. These are The Woodland Trust, The Marine Conservation Society & The John Muir Trust.
