Rooterville Animal Sanctuary is a 20-acre rescue farm near Melrose, Florida, dedicated to giving farm animals a safe, loving home while creating meaningful experiences for visitors. Since 2004, Rooterville has rescued animals from neglect and abuse—raising pigs, cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, dogs and more—and invites guests to connect with them through immersive programs like “Farmer for a Day,” cow cuddling, overnight stays in covered wagons, and seasonal events. With nature gardens, U-pick flowers, wellness and pollinator programs, and educational offerings, Rooterville provides a place of compassion, joy, and community. Every visit supports their mission to inspire kindness, stewardship, and a more humane world.
