Richmond Park Therapies

Richmond Park Therapies is a private complementary health practice based in North Kingston which offers a range of holistic therapies, including Reflexology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage and various Massage Therapies, such a Remedial or Sport Massage, Massage for relaxation and general well-being, Pregnancy Massage and Oncology Massage (for people with a cancer diagnosis or who are in remission). Baby Massage classes for private or small groups parents and their little ones are held approx twice weekly.

Treatments at Richmond Park Therapies are by Nina Caton Gupta, an experienced Holistic Therapist who looks not just at the main injury or health condition which brings her clients to her initially, but also considers in drawing up their detailed treatment plans, everything which affects them as a person, including their broader health, their lifestyle, stress patterns etc. This enables her to tailor each treatment exactly to the needs of each client on the day of their appointment, rather than offering a prescriptive ‘menu’ of therapies.

Richmond Park Therapies has been in existence since 2011 and generally serves the boroughs of Kingston upon Thames, Richmond upon Thames and the areas surrounding Richmond Park itself. As well as offering treatments in her elegant and welcoming home-based private clinic, Nina also works on a mobile basis for those of her clients who are unable to travel for treatment for any particular reason, for example due to mobility issues post-surgically, due to health conditions or due to being under hospital or hospice care.

Nina is highly experienced and a Level 5 practitioner, she has worked in physiotherapy clinics, a hospital, for various mental health charities and also her own treatment rooms. She prides herself on providing highly personalised continuity of care to her clients, many of whom have been using her services for many years. She is fully insured, a professional member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, also holding an enhanced DBS check certificate meaning that she is able to work with children and adolescent clients with their parents’ consent.

At Richmond Park Therapies, if you book an hour’s treatment, that is exactly what you will get (not 45 minutes on the massage couch with the other 15 minutes spent hurriedly filling out forms, changing etc). Detailed health consultations (which are provided free of charge) are carried out in advance of your first visit, by telephone or Zoom, so that you can ask any questions you might have about your therapy and so that your therapist can gather all the information she needs to ensure your treatment is both safe and fully tailored to meet your expectations. On your arrival, you’ll be able to park in an off-road private parking space. Your treatment room will be Covid-safe, disinfected, warm and waiting for you, there is a toilet onsite for your use should you need it. You’ll have full privacy in which to get ready for your treatment and a luxury, heated couch on which to finally relax for your therapy.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing massage or reflexology treatment, or a course of therapy to help improve and manage symptoms related to a health condition or injury, or perhaps looking for manual lymphatic drainage treatment following surgery, please do get in touch to briefly discuss your individual requirements in advance. Appointments are bookable online, by email or by phone and by advance arrangement only, please note we do not accept same-day or walk-in requests.
