The first step is the InstaPURE process, which fills the entire volume of a home with tiny particles (about 7.5 microns in size) of a hospital grade cold sterilant.
As the chemical reactions take place and the fog turns into a vapor state, the particle size gets even smaller and the concept of ‘vapor pressure’ gets utilized. These particles penetrate porous objects and reach areas that can’t normally be physically accessed, denaturing (killing) any mold, bacteria/pathogens, and spores that they come across. The second step, called EverPURE, coats all surfaces of the home with a lasting antimicrobial protectant that lyses any future spores that come in contact with it, rendering them inert.

Both steps are non-toxic and pet safe and the entire process is typically done in just 8 or so hours, meaning you can get back to your healthy home within a day of performing the treatment. The chemicals used in the InstaPURE step are given the green circle designation from the EPA’s safer choice campaign, which strictly evaluates product safety to humans, pets, and the environment. The product used in the EverPURE step is given an EPA toxicity rating of 4, which is the most benign of the classifications and only requires a ‘keep out of reach of children’ precaution.

Our approach is different from traditional remediation strategies, and with good reason. We commonly work with mold sensitive individuals who tend to not see results with the normal ‘tear out’ methods. The standard remediation approach is to set up containment, scrub the air, and remove the visible mold growth. To verify the job is complete, they normally test the air in that contained area while running the air purifiers to say they have fixed the mold issue. The problem here is that the mold is almost always in more places than can be seen. Spores are microscopic and can easily travel through the whole home, looking for new places to colonize where conditions for growth are met (a food source, oxygen, and moisture are the 3 main things it needs to establish itself).
