We stand for a return to natural and ecological values, and to support traditional methods that have been cultivated for centuries.

Inspired by the art of French master soap-making, and hand-crafted by small family “savonneries” using only natural and organic ingredients, our soaps are truly a slice of tradition. But they’re more than just soap, our beautiful bars are actually artisan, craft skincare products that gently cleanse your skin and leave it soft, smooth and moisturised.

It’s simple really, we sell products we love made by people we trust, and we’d love to share with you the very best that Provence has to offer.

Marseille soaps are exquisite gentle soaps with exceptional skincare properties, and Savon de Marseille has been produced by French artisan craft master soap-makers using traditional methods for over 600 years.

Our soaps are sourced directly from the producers in Marseille, hand-crafted using fresh ingredients they conform fully to UK and European regulations on cosmetics. They’re 100% natural, free from SLS, silicon and artificial pigments and are dermatologically tested, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types.

OUR PRODUCTS

We supply one of the UK’s largest ranges of authentic French Soaps. Our extensive range includes classic French market soaps, exfoliating soaps, natural soaps, guest soaps and donkey and goats milk soaps. We also have gifts for every special occasion, with gift ideas and box sets and gifts for her and gifts for him, there’s something for everyone. We also stock authentic French shaving soaps, traditional Savon de Marseille, bath and spa accessories, soap on a rope and wall mounted rotating French Soaps.

Our handmade luxury classic French soaps are enriched with organic shea butter and scented with exquisite perfumes and essential oils from Grasse, the birthplace and internationally acclaimed “World Capital of Perfume”. They are hydrating, moisturizing, repairing, protective and deeply nourishing. They are also anti-ageing, soothing, revitalizing, naturally hypoallergenic, antiseptic and antibacterial.

OUR COMMITMENT

Until the late 19th Century in Marseille, hundreds of small family “savonneries” produced France’s iconic Savon de Marseille. Sadly, all but a handful now remain. With the introduction of synthetic detergents, industrialisation, the growth of supermarkets and more recently counterfeit copies, they have all but disappeared.

Happily, today, there is somewhat of a renaissance. Consumers are rediscovering the environmentally friendly natural virtues of Savon de Marseille, and choosing them as a refreshing alternative to synthetic, chemical and petroleum-based products.

We’re wholeheartedly committed to supporting them!
