We are located at 1 Motto Court Hoppers Crossing Victoria 3029, which is a warm and comfortable room situated inside the Platinum Fitness Gym 24/7. Our room provides the perfect space to provide a clinical consult and assessment of what you might need treatment for. I have a working policy of “always be comfortable” when you visit. This includes the temperature of the room, the use of full length minke blankets, s memory foam topper on the table, as well as an electric blanket for the cooler months. Comfort does not stop there, I firmly believe in a safe space for all. Therefore we are inclusive and mindful of mental health.
At PCRMT I aim to get to the underlying issues that may be causing discomfort, rather than just rubbing and treating “where it is sore”. To achieve this I will have two conversations. One with yourself to find out what you are experiencing, and two, with your body through palpation to assess which muscles may be contributing to what you described. My main point of difference is that I will listen and try to understand why you came to see me and what we can offer to remedy the situation. Each treatment is individually personalised to what you require, not just a formulaic head to toe rub and hope for the best.
Upon graduation, I realised I had a lot more to learn to become the best I can be. So continuing education is foremost in my yearly endeavours. Since completion of Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification I have studied;
Advanced Myofascial Dry Needling with Advanced Clinical Education (Shaun Brewster)
Coaching The Body – The pain hackers method to release (Chuck Duff)
Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy (Gretchen Popp)
as well as;
Muscle Energy Technique
Active and passive release
The high performance hip protocol
Treating frozen shoulder
The low back and hip complex protocol
TMJ Temporal Mandibular Jaw dysfunction
CMD -Cervical Mandibular Dysfunction
All this was studied through Stuart Hinds Academy with Stuart Hinds as the mentor.
I focus on evidence based and results driven remedial massage.
My massage style is purposeful and thoughtful, with the aim to achieve great results.
I look to find the root causes that might be causing discomfort in the area you describe and try to relieve the restrictions.
I offer a firm massage where needed, but not so firm as to leave you feeling like you have gone three rounds with Tyson.
