Business Description (OYNB) One Year No Beer, known as OYNB, exists to help people redefine their relationship with alcohol without shame, judgment, or labels. What began as a simple challenge has become a global movement. OYNB was founded on a belief that alcohol is one of the most socially accepted habits holding people back from their potential, and that change becomes possible when people are given community, accountability, structure, and a positive path forward. Instead of preaching sobriety or forcing restrictions, OYNB focuses on empowerment. We help people discover who they can become when alcohol is no longer the default answer to stress, social pressure, boredom, or coping. Our programs combine behavioral psychology, coaching, habit science, and community support to guide people through 28, 90, or 365 day challenges. Members learn how to manage stress, improve their sleep, boost their energy, and rebuild confidence. Many join to “take a break.” Most stay because their life expands in ways they did not expect. At the heart of OYNB is our community. We have helped more than 100,000 people in over 130 countries. Members include CEOs, parents, athletes, entrepreneurs, shift workers, students, and people who have quietly struggled for years. What unites them is not addiction or rock bottom. What unites them is a desire to feel better, live better, and take control of their choices. Our programs are deliberately structured to be positive and future focused. Rather than avoiding alcohol, we help people build a life that no longer needs it. Through coaching, daily check ins, expert interviews, neuroscience based tools, and real world challenges, members learn how to handle social situations, anxiety, and stress without reaching for a drink. We teach people how to build new identity based habits and then reinforce them through small daily actions that stack over time. This leads to lasting change, both physically and mentally. OYNB has been featured in national media including The Times, BBC, Sky News, Forbes, and Men’s Health. Our work is backed by academic research and independent studies that show participants experience measurable improvements in wellbeing, confidence, energy levels, sleep quality, and productivity. Many report losing weight, improving relationships, gaining promotions, and reconnecting with hobbies and passions they had forgotten about. What makes OYNB different is that we do not tell people who they have to become. We show them who they already are. We believe that when someone removes alcohol, even temporarily, they create a window where the real work can begin. That is where breakthroughs happen. Members often join thinking they have a drinking problem. They discover that what they truly needed was tools, community, and a stronger relationship with themselves. Our vision is simple. We want to make it normal to question alcohol. We want to give millions of people the confidence to say “I feel better without it” without needing to explain themselves. And we want to help people unlock their full potential by removing a habit that quietly compromises health, happiness, and performance. OYNB is not about giving something up. It is about gaining everything you could not see clearly before.
