Each module has an integrated Power supply and 2 NCore modules. They range in power from 80W 120W 250W up to 500W.

Next are amps based on Hypex NC500 and the newer latest NCx500 up to the Hypex NC1200. We also offer Purifi EIGENTAKT 1ET400A, ASR review measurements of Nord Three SE 1ET400ADM MKII Purifi 1ET7040SA and soon the 1ET9040BA. These all have separate power supplies, amplifier modules, and input buffer board containing op amps. Designed and built by Nord this is where we give our amplifiers the Nord special sound. We pioneered this approach in 2015, and today, it’s the hallmark of our high end amplifiers. The standard amp uses the NCx500 onboard buffer the NC500 and Purifi amps use a simplified buffer with a OP1612 IC op amp while all MKII amps use a full version with discrete op amps and Voltage regulators to give a full Class A sound. All are world class Audiophile grade stereo power amplifiers.

All our Hypex Amplifiers utilize NCore technology, the latest and most advanced modules from Hypex. We design, build, and sell a wide range of Hypex-based NCore amplifiers directly, including stereo and multichannel amplifiers.

We integrate from the entry-level NCore modules NC52MP, NC122MP, NC252MP, NC502MP. These modules are all-in-one units, equipped with onboard power supplies and input buffers.

Moving up to mid-to-high-end offerings, we have the Hypex NC500 and the latest NCx500, which have delivered significant improvements in sonic performance that were previously thought impossible from a new module. Both the NC500 and the NCx500 feature separate power supplies using the Hypex SMPS1200A700. The new NCx500 differs from the NC500 in that it has an onboard buffer, which we use in our standard amplifier. For ultimate performance, we combine it with our Nord Buffer, utilizing discrete Voltage Regulators and Op Amps. This approach offers superior performance and the flexibility to easily upgrade each section of the amplifier.

Finally, the NC1200 module also uses a separate Power Supply. Although our base NC1200 amps use the onboard buffer, superior audiophile performance is achieved when specifying our Nord Buffer.

NORD THREE PURIFI AMPLIFIER RANGE OVERVIEW
Nord is an authorized partner of Purifi Audio and has collaborated with them for over 4 years. Learn more on Purifi’s site. All our amplifiers utilise Purifi’s cutting-edge technology EIGENTAKT. Known for its latest and most advanced modules. We design, construct, and directly sell a diverse range of amplifiers based on Purifi technology, including stereo and multichannel amplifiers.

We integrate a variety of Purifi modules, starting from the Purifi 1ET400A, 1ET7040SA and 1ET9040BA. Both 400 and 7040 use separate power supplies using the Hypex SMPS1200A400. They also use separate input buffers. Our standard amp uses a simple IC based OPA1612 buffer while ultimate performance is achieved by specifying it with our Nord Buffer, incorporating discrete Voltage Regulators and Op Amps. This method ensures superior performance and allows for easy upgrades to each section of the amplifier.

Lastly, the 1ET9040BA module also utilizes a separate Power Supply. While our standard 1ET940BA amplifiers use the onboard buffer, superior audiophile performance is achieved when specifying our Nord Buffer.
