We pay special attention to reversible conversions – where you have a typical daily use car (5-7 seater) and with a few temporary modifications, you can turn it into a camper with a bed and storage, then turn it back to a standard car. That’s our definition of minimalistic car camping or microcamping.

The website was born out of my (Lukas) frustration with not being able to find good information about which car to buy if I want to sleep in it. During my research, I’ve collected a lot of useful information and decided to share it with everyone who is looking for it. Since then, I’ve added plenty of additional reviews, measurements and useful products for car camping (suv / car tents and awnings, camping gear, car equipment).
