Mountain Villas is the only lodging in on Spirit Mountain in Duluth Minnesota and is the perfect place to stay while visiting the area! It is a popular resort consisting of 14 unique villas located in a private wooded area next to Duluth's Spirit Mountain Recreation Area, overlooking the scenic Spirit Mountain ski area, Saint Louis Bay and the city of Duluth, Minnesota. It is easy to get to, just south of I-35 exit 249 on Skyline Parkway. Each villa is a seperate pedestal style 8-sided building built by Topsider Homes and is tastefully furnished and decorated in its own charming way. Each will comfortably sleep six with two private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a livingroom with sofa sleeper, a full kitchen complete with appliances, cooking utensils, and tableware, plus an area for dining. Each has a gas fireplace, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, DVD player, central air, an outside deck, and free parking. Some have a whirlpool tub and some will allow dogs. All villas are within a short walk of the Spirit Mountain Area attractions, including 22km of beautifully wooded cross-country ski trails with groomed natural snow plus 1.5 km of lighted groomed trails at the Nordic Center, 22 downhill ski runs, snowboarding on the Midwest's largest terrain park, snow tubing, 24 mountain biking trails, the Timber Twister Alpine Coaster, Timber Flyer Zip Line, Putt-Putt Golf, scenic chairlift rides, disk golf, access to the Superior Hiking Trail, and much more! The Villas are also a wonderful place to stay if you just want to relax in a place with plenty of room, eat in, and enjoy your privacy. The kitchens have everything you'll need to make a meal, or picnic tables and grills are provided on the grounds if you want to eat outside. Duluth restaurants and tourist attractions are only a few minutes drive away. We are a popular facility for family reunions, weddings, and other events where guests frequently choose to reserve a group of villas. Reduced rates may be available for longer term stays. There is also a list of attractions in the Duluth area that shows there are many interesting things to do while staying at the Mountain Villas! Reservations can be made online or by calling the office. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m., Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Quiet Time is 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. A deposit is required when making reservations. Up to six guests can stay for the same price as two. Ski packages and other discounts are available. A large selection of DVDs are availabe to be borrowed from the office. The villas are open year-round.
