Melody is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. In 2016, Melody’s husband suddenly lost hearing in his left ear. Recently, he became a successful cochlear implant recipient. Marrying someone with hearing loss allowed Melody to personally experience the challenges faced by individuals with hearing difficulties and their loved ones. This firsthand experience has made her even more proud of her role as an audiologist, as she understands the struggles people with hearing loss go through. Melody is dedicated to supporting individuals on their hearing journey, drawing inspiration from the positive impact that various audiologists have had on her husband and herself.
