We’re a small Napa Valley winery with a big name, crafting elegant, single-vineyard Cab Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Majuscule means the opposite of minuscule. This juxtaposition of big and small embodies our wine making philosophy. We craft big yet elegant and balanced wines from exceptional single vineyards in the Napa Valley.
Our award-winning wines are produced in very small lots – typically less than 100 cases per wine – with an intense focus on quality. Our founders – Jeff Davis and Greg Brickey – united as an unlikely pair of talented winemakers. Jeff comes from a background in public relations and Greg owns a structural engineering firm. Together, they have curated a boutique brand known for elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc wines.
Majuscule became an official winery in 2018 but we’ve been making grapes from the same vineyard on Mount Veeder since 2009. We’re rooted to the Mount Veeder appellation on the western side of the Napa Valley where the vineyards are planted high on sloping terrain. Our vineyard sources are stunningly beautiful and have several microclimates and grape clones. They’re challenging to farm, but the extra effort yields incredible results in the bottle.
