Little Scholars School of Early Learning

Little Scholars School of Early Learning was founded in 2014 by Jae Fraser, an early childhood teacher with more than 25 years of experience and a vision to create something more than childcare—a nurturing, inspiring early learning environment built around children, families, and genuine educational care.

What began as a single centre in South East Queensland has grown into a family-owned network of 17 campuses across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, and Redland Bay, while staying grounded in the same values that shaped the very first centre.

Founded by an Educator, Not Built as a Corporate Model

Little Scholars was created by someone who spent decades working directly with young children and understood what high-quality early learning should look and feel like.

That educator-led foundation continues to shape everything across the centres today, from the learning philosophy to the relationships built with children and families.

Learning Led by Curiosity

At the heart of Little Scholars is The Collective, an educational philosophy that follows each child’s interests, questions, and natural curiosity rather than relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all programming.

Educators observe what sparks each child’s engagement and build meaningful learning experiences around those discoveries.

Innovative Programs That Set Little Scholars Apart

Little Scholars brings this philosophy to life through distinctive programs designed to make learning immersive, engaging, and memorable.

Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder take children into natural environments where exploration and nature become part of the curriculum.

WonderNest introduces kindergarten children to guided virtual reality experiences that bring weekly learning themes to life through immersive educational adventures.

Grandfriends, the intergenerational program, creates meaningful relationships between children and older community members, offering experiences that families consistently describe as deeply special.

Recognized for Quality

Several Little Scholars campuses have earned the Exceeding rating under Australia’s National Quality Standard—the highest rating awarded by ACECQA.

This independent recognition reflects a consistent commitment to quality, care, and educational excellence.

Supporting Families Every Day

Little Scholars also supports families with practical features that make everyday life easier, including chef-prepared meals provided daily, extracurricular programs such as yoga, music, and dance at no extra cost, and extended operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday.

These details are designed to support both children’s development and the realities of family life.

A Place Where Families Feel They Belong

Beyond the programs and credentials, Little Scholars is built around warmth, relationships, and partnership with families.

It is a place where educators take time to know each child, where families feel welcomed, and where early learning is approached as a shared journey.

Early Learning with Heart

At its core, Little Scholars School of Early Learning exists to provide children with an environment where they are nurtured, challenged, supported, and inspired.

It is the vision Jae Fraser built from the beginning, and it remains the commitment delivered across every campus today.
