We also help Australian individuals, including sole traders and business owners, to not lose all their assets such as their business, cars and houses whilst going Bankrupt. Ultimately, we may utilise the insolvency laws to the advantage of the client and explain to them the information that Liquidators and Bankruptcy Trustees are unable to provide them and do not want the client to know. We hold the hand of the client all the way through the process of an insolvency event.

Our services provide a world of difference to our clients compared to when a someone goes directly to a Liquidator or Bankruptcy Trustee. We represent the client and their interests rather than the interests of creditors. Accordingly, there are more options that can be provided to the client rather than a standard Liquidation or Bankruptcy. We utilise Liquidation or Bankruptcy as a last resort to deal with debt issues, rather look at other possibilities such as refinancing an asset and negotiation. When a client utilises the services of LemonAide, members of staff and other interested parties do not know we are there, but we have a massive positive impact on the client’s business.

We are not Liquidators or Bankruptcy Trustees as they are unable to give the client a lot of specific advice about the client’s current financial circumstances. Our Director, Nathan Bennett has over 20 years of insolvency experience and worked with many of Australia’s top Liquidators and Bankruptcy Trustee for a lot of that time. This is in contrast to many of LemonAide’s competitors who were either a Director of a Liquidated Company, a Bankrupt or only have experience in the banking sector. Nathan has vast amounts of hands-on experience and can look at a transaction as a Liquidator or Bankruptcy Trustee may look at that transaction and provide the right advice. Nathan is just as qualified as many Liquidators and Bankruptcy Trustees as he holds an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency from the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association.

Nathan set up LemonAide so that Australian Directors were able to receive all their options to deal with their Company’s debt issues but also understand how those options may affect them personally.
