Honestly, my business, Lakeway Mobility, is all about helping people stay mobile, independent, and safe. We rent and sell all kinds of medical equipment — things like wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds, oxygen concentrators — pretty much anything that makes life easier for someone recovering or aging in place. We also do non-emergency medical transportation, so if someone needs a safe, reliable ride to a doctor’s appointment or back home from rehab, we take care of that too. What makes us different is how hands-on and responsive we are — we deliver the equipment ourselves, set it up, make sure it fits right, and teach families or staff how to use it. Most of our work is with assisted living communities, rehab centers, and hospitals, but we also help individual families. We move fast — same-day or next-day deliveries are kind of our thing — and I personally stay involved with every partner and resident we serve. At the end of the day, it’s not just about equipment; it’s about giving people back a sense of freedom and dignity. That’s what really drives me and my team.
