GuardaVent is a better vent cover because it attaches to the floor on the inside of the vent with 2 screws (screws are included), which makes it very easy to install and is the best way to childproof the vents WITHOUT damaging the flooring or resorting to unsightly, and inconvenient DIY options. Once installed, the lid closes and has two tabs that lock it in place, so small hands, feet, or paws can’t get in.
