JKA Shotokan Karate Club Dubai is the official UAE branch of the Japan Karate Association (JKA), one of the world’s most respected traditional karate organizations. As an officially recognized JKA branch (Branch Code AE-007), we follow the technical syllabus, grading system, and instructor standards established by JKA Headquarters in Japan. Our Chief Instructor, Sensei Ameer Adukkattil, brings more than 35 years of karate experience and has dedicated his life to the study and teaching of traditional Shotokan Karate. He holds the rank of JKA 6th Dan Black Belt and is a JKA-qualified Instructor, Examiner, and Judge. In addition to his responsibilities within the Japan Karate Association, he is an accredited coach and serves as a judge and referee within the UAE karate community. His extensive experience allows students to receive authentic instruction that follows internationally recognized JKA standards while adapting training to suit children, teenagers, adults, and families in Dubai.
