JANDO are award winning Irish printmakers based in Dublin, Ireland. Created by husband and wife team, Julie and Owen, (hence the acronym J-AND-O), it all started accidentally when they were planning their wedding – not finding the stationery to suit their own tastes they went about designing their own. What started out as a passion project, turned into a successful business venture when Julie brought some of Owen’s old screen prints to some stockists who immediately saw the potential. Today JANDO is stocked in over 70 locations worldwide and has a global community of followers and collectors.
Specialising in colourful, architectural themed prints, JANDO skilfully blend a combination of both traditional and modern printmaking techniques, including screen printing and hand drawn illustration to create their distinctive body of work. Their pieces are 100% Irish made, using only local suppliers from the isle of Ireland. This includes everything from the wooden frames to the finest archival paper and even the carefully selected water-based inks, all of which guarantees quality that lasts a lifetime. To ensure their commitment to a more sustainable future, all JANDO prints are also packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.
Aside from their iconic art prints, JANDO also produce a range of contemporary greeting cards themed around the Irish wit, a series of screen printed tote bags & ethically made tea towels.
