My business was founded by two youths and myself as a venue for mentoring those youths after the untimely death of their father. They are now grown with families of they’re own. Over time my own children became involved for a period of time. They too are now grown and no longer involved in the business. Now, in 2021, I operate the business on my own.
My products are mainly lathe-turned items such as pens, mechanical pencils, keyrings, bottle stoppers, seam rippers, and Christmas ornaments, to name a few. I use a variety of raw materials including wood and resin-cast blanks, which I create in my shop. I have the ability to cast photographs in resin and incorporate that into a pen. I use the finest materials in these processes, such as mica powders, epoxy and polyurethane resins, and glow in the dark additives, as well as other pigments and metalflake. My finishing processes ensure a durable, attractive, and of course functional, end product.
I also create resin cast items such as coasters, paper weights, and embedded objects. I use the highest quality materials and always look for ways to improve my processes and products.
