David spent the next nine months being discipled in the French Church.
Upon his return to the United States, he found that most Americans had no idea about God’s work in France. Many French churches were alive and vibrant – passionate communities of Jesus’ followers – but unknown to Americans. In response to this, Impact France (or the Christian Community Foundation of France – its original name) was officially founded in June 2005 and received its exempt status in November 2006.
Since that time, the mission of Impact France has remained constant – mobilizing prayer for and supporting the work of native French ministries. Being a bridge, a platform, and a connector to help Americans pray for and invest in the Kingdom in France.
We represent over 120 different French ministries with over 200 projects and run the largest prayer campaign for France in the world through Pray for France – providing a way for Americans to know about French ministries, pray for French ministries, and give to French ministries. We have sent over $14 million into France to support evangelism, church planting, church revitalization, theological training, discipleship, and many other types of outreach. Since our founding, the Evangelical population of France has more than doubled and a church is planted every ten days.
Our overarching goal is to allow Americans to actively participate in the Kingdom of God in France from the United States just as if they were in France.
