Greensboro Area Health Education Center (Greensboro AHEC) serves healthcare professionals and students in Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Guilford, Montgomery, Orange, Randolph, and Rockingham counties. We enhance learning experiences by providing educational and informational resources to both practicing healthcare professionals and students in the region.
– We provide convenient classroom and online continuing education programs for credit to healthcare professionals in a variety of fields.
– Our Cone Health medical residency programs attract excellent residents from across the country and internationally.
– Our pharmacy education faculty support clinical care, provide teaching for UNC pharmacy students, Moses Cone Hospital pharmacy and medical residents, and lead continuing education programs.
– Medical student rotations include over 200 sites and 350 community preceptors to coordinate community practice experiences.
