What sets me apart ? Let’s see. I am the founder. I created greenhouses and sunrooms dot com in 1992.

1) I created the” U pick Up ” mantra in an effort to let my customers know that they can purchase polycarbonate sheets, panels, and associated accessories at our local warehouse freight free. “U-pick up”
In case you didn’t know, polycarbonate are greenhouse translucent sheets and panels. They come in 4 & 6 ft widths up to 32 ft in length. Very high demand nationwide.
Most purchases are for 8ft through 16ft ..very large items to ship and are extremely costly to ship from point A to point B …
They require wood crating and most common carriers charge very much for this delivery service, not to mention the high cost of wood crating. The savings are very substantial.
When an opportunity allows customers to save on freight and crating, most customers are on it like bees on honey.

2) We became dealers for polycarbonate as a result of the ever rising popularity for backyard greenhouses. In addition, we are design builders of greenhouses and I use polycarbonate on many of our greenhouse projects.
Polycarbonate panels have reached a high demand among horticultural enthusiasts that have a desire to grow their own fruits and vegetables. As demand increases, so does our supply… I am an authorized dealer for a couple of manufactures who provide us with very good prices which enables us to re-sell these panels at very good competitive pricing. Coupled with the “U- pick up” factor, the customer realizes great savings by purchasing from Greenhouses Del Sol Inc. I am very busy, always helping customers obtain what they need.

3) Polycarbonate structural panels or sheets are a great replacement for glass and acrylic when you require a transparent or translucent appearance. Not only are polycarbonate panels great for greenhouses, but they are also useful for many other types of home improvement projects. Such as for doors, windows, window wells, barns, breezeways for homes … carports, patio enclosures, privacy fences, shelters of all sorts. The list is endless.
They’re easy to work with and creates a bright and airy ambience that simply brightens any project you happen to be working on. Overall, the desire and demand for such projects has increased tenfold over the years.

4) As an experienced home builder, I decided to branch out into the field of building with transparency.
Over the years I have learned many tricks of the trade and I offer assistance and helpful building tips on the best and easiest ways to work with polycarbonate. I’ve become the guru of polycarbonate supplies and applications and enjoy working and helping everyday folks with like-minded interests.
