Our business focuses on providing a world-class recording experience for tourists visiting our beautiful country, Costa Rica.

We receive customers from all around the world. From World-Class Grammy Producers looking to start a new project, movie stars looking for an ADR or Voice Over studio to music enthusiasts looking for a high-end recording and mixing facility.

While feeling inspired by the wonders of nature Costa Rica represents, our facilities are located in a secure and centric establishment, 7 minutes away from the international airport in San Jose. Our studio has a chill vibe and cozy environment that makes our customers enjoy the whole Pura Vida experience.

Our founder Federico Hencker is a Colombian, certified audio engineer who has more than 10 years of professional experience in areas such as music production and audio post-production for film, TV, radio and media. Some of his achievements in the music production field includes his participation as audio engineer in international projects for high caliber producers like Jeremy ̈Arthur ̈ McArthur (Can), Jeffrey ̈Lord Quest ̈ Nuamah (Can), Steve ̈Swiff D ̈ Thorton (US) and Luigi ̈Mr Melodyo ̈ Giraldo (US)

In the post-production world he collaborated as an audio engineer for companies and organizations such as the National Film Board of Canada, Extra Mile Pictures (Australia), Online Voices (Sweden), Filmlance International (Sweden), Giesing-Team Tonproduktionen GmbH (Germany), HEARby (US), 22 Squared (US), Wool & Tusk (US), Rainmaker Studios (US), Europa Sound & Vision (Sweden), Akkomplice (Australia), The producers (Australia), Once Once Films (Costa Rica), Ubisoft (Canada), Amazon Studios (US) among others.

The studio was designed by Malvicino Design Group, which is a design and consulting firm from New York, specialized in acoustical design.

Green Road Recording Studio is proud of having a Solid State Logic Matrix Super Analogue console at the heart of the studio; accompanied by a full range 3-way monitoring array with loudspeaker and room correction system. Class A pre-amps, analogue processors, a complete selection of the finest microphones like the legendary AKG C12 VR, and an extensive collection of digital tools alongside Pro Tools Ultimate, makes Green Road Recording Studio the perfect modern hybrid production studio.

Among the services the studio offers, we can highlight: Music production (recording, editing, mixing & mastering), voice over and ADR. Also, the studio is certified by Source-Connect and Avid in music and Post-production.

Green Road Recording Studio offers a control room, two live rooms and a spacious meeting room/chill out area with high- speed internet and amenities. Parking lot space is also available for all the customers.

Finally, we are also pleased to offer music tourism packages for our most demanding customers.

During weekdays, we offer accommodation in one of our recommended hotels near the studio; Over the weekend, we take our clients out to enjoy the natural wonders of Costa Rica. We offer plenty of different options depending on your taste. From adventures in the rain forest to parties on the exciting Jaco beach.
