Grande Real Estate is a family owned and operated boutique real estate company in Costa Rica. Our company is founded on the principals of integrity, personalized service and the most in-depth market knowledge in the area. We’ve been in the real estate business for more than 24 years with 19 of those living, working, buying, investing and building in Costa Rica. We specialize in the areas of Playa Tamarindo to Playa Flamingo, with an emphasis on Playa Grande, our home.

Even for seasoned real estate investors, the market and transactions in a foreign country can be challenging to navigate. Two languages, two legal systems, two currencies — for a foreign buyer, one can see how important it is to have honest, knowledgeable representation. This is the reason we founded Grande Real Estate in 2017. After moving to Costa Rica in 2002 we began buying, selling and investing in properties in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Our team is all well-versed in the business and investment climate here and we’re ready to help you make informed decisions.

In 2002 our broker and founder Dave Corredor and his wife, Annie relocated to Playa Grande, Costa Rica. He brought with him a deep understanding of real estate from working in Silicon Valley at Cornish and Carey Commercial. His client list includes; Paypal / Ebay, Advocco, TellMe Networks (acquired by Microsoft), Adecco and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His career sales in the Silicon Valley were in excess of $75,000,000. The experience of such a dynamic market and transactions ranging from leases to sales to development helped him be ready to learn real estate in a foreign market.

In 2004, Dave and Annie purchased an eight-room hotel in Playa Grande that is now called RipJack Inn. The hotel is now the largest operating business in Playa Grande with 21 rooms, 2 yoga studios and a successful restaurant with 90 seats. Dave is also the volunteer Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the town water association, ASADA de Playa Grande. These varied experiences here and being bi-lingual are two assets Dave brings to his clients and their transactions.

After working in a couple of the local brokerages as an agent and broker, Dave asked Annie to help him create a real estate company so that they could help people safely purchase, sell and develop property here. We offer assistance in much more than just purchasing a property. We can help you understand how deals are structured and what your property rights are as a foreigner buying real estate. With so much experience under our belts we can help guide you every step of the way. From showings to offers to due diligence to permitting and design and construction, we have experience doing it all!

What sets us apart from our competition is our enormous knowledge base around real estate transactions in our area. We’ve made over 130 transactions in the last 6 years, with over 20 already in 2021’s red hot market. Bur more importantly our belief that our clients are relationships and not transactions.
