Blog Posts & Social Coverage
Piper will pen a custom post to help you meet your business goals. Then, Piper integrates each sponsored post into Follow the Piper’s content and shares it on social media to tell your story. Since Piper’s days as an instructional designer, she’s believed a picture is worth a thousand words. Both sponsored blog posts and social media coverage will include original images to tell your story.
Piper’s combined social media following is over 33,500 through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. She can assist you in meeting your marketing objectives by promoting your destination, product, or brand messages. These services include Instagram takeovers, Twitter chats, Facebook Lives, and customized Pins.
Press Trips
Piper will participate in scheduled press trips, familiarization trips (FAM), or individually hosted trips. She’d love to tell the stories behind your destination. Both the people and the places that make your destination unique.
She confirms assignments in agreed-upon publications before arriving at your destination so that you know precisely where Piper will tell your story.
Proofreading
You’ve worked hard on promotional materials, from Visitor’s Guides to trail maps. Finally, the document is ready to go to print. Just to be sure, have one more set of eyes on your document.
Piper will read and mark any errors or items you should double-check one last time before it goes to print.

About Follow the Piper Blog
Follow the Piper wants to motivate you to pack more travel into your life. You don’t need to get on a plane to travel. Instead, we’ll inspire you to get off the couch and see the world, near or far. Be a tourist in your own town. Go to that new restaurant. Explore the museum you’ve passed every day for years and never visited. Make a day trip on Saturday or go away for the weekend. You don’t need a whole week or two to travel. You don’t need to travel full-time to experience the world.
While we want to motivate you to plan your next adventure in Michigan or the Midwest, occasionally you’ll find articles farther afield. So, first, we help you decide where to go, with whom, what to eat, and which activities to pursue. Then, we help you determine why and how to get there cost-effectively.
Our founder and writer, Amy Piper, is a published author and regular contributor to multiple travel outlets. Amy says, “There’s regular travel for weekend trips with my husband and multi-generational trips with the entire family, including my daughter and granddaughters. While my husband and I retired from our day jobs, we can help you plan how to spend your limited vacations and holidays. Wherever I am, I focus on planning Flights. Food. Family Fun!”
