The cottage, which dates back to the early 1700s, has recently undergone a complete renovation and is now available to guests who wish to visit the area.
There are lots of things to do and places to visit nearby. For those who love to go hiking there almost endless walking paths – including coastal paths at the nearby Seven Sisters cliffs – that have varying degrees of difficulty as well as lots of cycling trails in nearby Friston Forest. There is kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding on the Cuckmere River, which winds its way through Alfriston towards the open sea at Cuckmere Haven.
The cottage is also ideally located for pubs and restaurants in the village and is surrounded by the beautiful and unspoilt landscape of the South Downs.
