When they began to get frustrated with the increasing prices of new build homes whilst seeing a reduction in the quality of workmanship, Exact Home Surveys was born.
Our inspectors in depth knowledge of building regulations, warranty provider regulations and best practice guidelines mean customers are in good hands.
At Exact Home Surveys, we conduct thorough, in depth inspections of new build homes. Our checks cover all internal and external aspects of new build properties including any gardens, fencing, garages and driveways. Surveys include but are not limited to lofts, plumbing checks, electrical tests and appliance testing. We check your new home from top to bottom down to the smallest paint and plaster work details. All of the home inspections include a free drone roof and guttering survey to make sure nothing is missed.
We then provide the buyer with a detailed snagging report to present to their developer. Each defect found will be presented in the report with images and easy to understand descriptions of what the issue is and which contractor is responsible.
We pride ourselves on offering first rate customer service and making sure the buyer understands each and every snag and why they should be put right. We cut through any building jargon and make sure our customers feel comfortable and confident approaching their developers with a list of snags to be rectified.
Our commitment to each individual customer doesn’t end once the snag report is sent to them, we are on hand for any further questions and are always happy to pick up the phone and have a chat to make sure customers get the full service they have paid for.
We offer additional de-snagging reports. These take place once the developer has seen the original report and rectified any issues. We come back to the property to perform another snagging inspection and ensure all snags have been rectified. The buyer will then receive a summary of any remaining snags, if required.
