When people ask what we do, the simple answer is that we sell holsters and gear for everyday carry. But the longer answer is that we’re a small family business trying to make life a little easier for folks who carry a firearm every day. That’s the heart of it. We’re not a big company with flashy marketing or deep pockets. We’re regular people who carry ourselves, who know what it’s like to walk around with a holster that digs into your side, or one that doesn’t quite fit, or one that prints so badly you may as well not even try to conceal. We know those frustrations because we’ve lived them. That’s what pushed us to start Everyday Holster. We wanted to give people options that are practical, comfortable, and affordable. Nothing fancy, nothing overhyped — just gear that works. When you find a holster that feels right, it makes carrying a whole lot less of a burden. That’s something we believe in because we’ve seen how it changes daily life. Carrying should give you peace of mind, not constant irritation. We started small, with just a few holsters and a simple idea: make it easy for people to find something that actually fits their pistol. Over time, that idea grew. We now carry different styles — inside-the-waistband, outside-the-waistband, universal holsters, and even holsters built for people who use grip-activated lasers. We’ve also branched out into things like concealed carry purses and bags, pistol lights, and other gear. The catalog has grown, but the guiding principle hasn’t changed: if we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we don’t sell it. One thing that makes us different is that we balance online sales with in-person sales at gun shows. That wasn’t a big, planned strategy — it just made sense. Gun shows let us meet people face-to-face, shake hands, answer questions, and hear what’s working or not working with the gear. Those conversations have been invaluable. You don’t get that kind of direct feedback from a website. Somebody will walk up, try a holster on the spot, and tell you immediately if it feels good or if it doesn’t. We listen to those comments and adjust what we carry. Another part of our story is how much we value honesty in how we talk about products. We don’t throw around words like “premium” or “elite” because those words don’t mean much. Instead, we focus on describing the holsters the way we’d describe them to a friend. Is it comfortable? Then we say so. Does it fit a certain model? Then we make that clear. That straightforwardness matters to us. People shouldn’t need a dictionary or a background in marketing to know whether a holster might work for them. We’re also mindful of the fact that different people carry in different ways. For some, an inside-the-waistband holster is perfect. For others, it’s a purse, a crossbody bag, or a belly band. Women often have different needs than men when it comes to concealment, and we’ve worked hard to add options that make sense for them. We’re not here to say one style is better than another. We’re here to say, “Here are the options. Pick what works best for your life.” Like a lot of small businesses, we’ve had our share of trial and error. Some products move fast, others sit longer than expected. Sometimes a supplier ships something that looks great on paper but falls short in real life. The key has been staying flexible. We don’t keep poor-fitting or uncomfortable holsters around just because we bought a batch. If it’s not right for our customers, it doesn’t stay in the lineup. That’s one of the advantages of being small — we can pivot quickly and keep only the gear that makes sense. Looking ahead, we’re continuing to grow carefully. One of the projects we’re most excited about is developing new belly band holsters that improve on what’s already out there. A lot of belly bands on the market are made of hot, uncomfortable material, and they wear out faster than they should. We’ve been working on designs with better materials and smarter features. That’s the kind of work that gets us fired up — solving real problems for people who carry every day. At the end of the day, Everyday Holster isn’t just about products. It’s about people. It’s about making sure someone can carry their pistol comfortably on a long drive, or that a mother feels confident carrying in her purse, or that someone at a gun show finds the holster that finally fits their Glock or Sig the way it should. Those are the little victories that keep us going. We’re proud of the fact that we’re a small, family-run business. My wife, my stepdaughter, and even my grandson are part of this journey in one way or another. It keeps us grounded. We’re not trying to be a giant brand. We’re trying to build something solid, something that takes care of our family while helping other families feel a little safer. That’s enough for us.
