Envious Bridal & Formal is a local bridal store in Perth, Australia that specializes in creating customized wedding dresses that are tailored to the unique preferences and needs of each bride. Founded by Yen Tran, a passionate fashion enthusiast with a keen eye for creating beautiful custom gowns, our brand is driven by the mission to empower brides and provide them with endless possibilities for bringing their wedding dress dreams to life.
Yen’s own journey as a bride in search of the perfect wedding dress inspired her to create a brand that breaks free from the limitations of traditional bridal stores. Like many brides, Yen faced numerous obstacles while exploring these stores in Perth. Despite visiting multiple boutiques, she was disheartened to discover a lack of options that truly resonated with her unique vision and petite frame. The limited flexibility in modifying designs left her feeling frustrated, and the few stores that did offer minor modifications or semi-custom came with exorbitant price tags.
Rejecting the notion of cookie-cutter wedding gowns, Yen firmly believed that a wedding dress should be more than just a garment. It is a profound, once-in-a-lifetime symbol that represents a bride’s individuality, style, and aspirations for her special day. Settling for a dress that falls short of her vision would be a disheartening compromise.
In her own quest for the perfect wedding dress, Yen embarked on a holiday trip overseas and made the decision to have her wedding dress custom made. The result surpassed all her expectations and left her more fulfilled than any wedding gown she had tried on at traditional bridal stores. This experience solidified her belief in the transformative power of custom-made gowns, fuelling her determination to offer brides a truly exceptional and satisfying bridal experience with a bespoke and custom-made wedding dress.
