Hi, I’m Alisha Bacon, owner and coordinator here at Effortless Elopements. As a photographer, I love to plan elopements with the perfect pictures in mind. The kind of pictures you save on Pinterest, that you’ll be dying to show your friends and family.

My very own wedding was scheduled at a chapel in Gatlinburg on my 18th birthday. Devastatingly the chapel canceled my wedding on the day of. While we were able to still get married on that day thanks to some clever thinking, but it wasn’t pretty. I was left with almost no pictures, and absolutely no images worthy to post or hang on my walls .

I still mourn the loss of my wedding experience and pictures, while shuddering at the memory of the stress of our special day. I created Effortless Elopements to give couples a stress-free, beautiful wedding experience with killer pictures without the pain and stress of planning their own wedding.

YES, WE PLAN YOUR ELOPEMENT, BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

I’ll be your dedicated elopement planner and will guide you through each step! You’ll have access to all my “born-and-raised-here” knowledge of the area and I’m always just a click away from answering any question. I’ll be handling all the stressful details so that you don’t have to! As a photographer, I plan your day based on getting awesome pictures.

We’ve scouted out the best and most photogenic elopement locations in the Smoky Mountains. Whether you want mountains, streams, woods, or a rustic church. We’ll help you choose the best location for YOUR vision.

We take care of the permits and reservations for the location for you. Getting married in a National Park means permits and paperwork to keep everything legal. Not exactly what I’d call a fun time and where do you even start??? No worries;

Your officiant will be booked for you. Our officiants are simply the best! I personally know and love them; They have stellar reputations in the area and they all have a passion for creating meaningful ceremonies for our couples.

An amazing photographer will be chosen for your elopement. The team of photographers I’ve put together are trained on how to capture those Pinterest-perfect images of your elopement. As a photographer myself ( and former bride with really crappy photos) I know just how important your wedding pictures are and that you need AMAZING shots to wow your friends and family with. After all, what is an epic day without epic pictures to remember it by?
