Candace, her husband and three boys live in a small house in inner-Brisbane. They love living walking distance to school and other amenities, but find the biggest challenge in a small home is keeping it tidy when there is limited storage. “Our three boys share a bedroom and don’t have a wardrobe each, so the dot on a sock system certainly helps if the socks are all in together – they instantly know which are theirs by way of the coloured dot on the sole”.

Socks come in sizes to suit kids from 18months of age to larger men’s sizes, perfect for the whole family. Before owning her own business, Candace was a business development manager in the health and medical field. “I worked for multiple years for 2 large businesses that went through a restructure and subsequent downsize. The experience encouraged me to create my own security and now I have a humble little business that helps families in a small but meaningful way.”

Candace hopes that consumers will move away from buying cheap mass-produced garments and support local businesses like hers. Many larger companies are not eco-conscious, garments including socks come packaged in layers of plastic.
