Our story began about 30 years ago, in a 10′ x 10′ kiosk on the Amphitheatre in the highly acclaimed beach town of Seaside, Florida, in 1993. By concentrating on the market outside of Seaside, this prime location provided the Davis Properties sales team with exposure to thousands of potential buyers and sellers passing by on foot every day for fifteen years.
Shortly after founding Davis Properties, Larry Davis also became the Broker for Rosemary Beach Realty in 1995 and played a crucial role in shaping the highly acclaimed Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). With his experiences and connections at Rosemary Beach and Seaside, Larry continues to consult on various TNDs throughout the southeast, west coast, and internationally, assisting developers with planning, project, and marketing strategy. Larry is a member of The Seaside Institute; a member of Leadership Florida 2011 Class XXX; a founding member of the Seaside Neighborhood Charter School [one of Florida’s first Charter Schools]; and an active participant in the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors. Today Davis Properties is in Seagrove Beach, Florida, and is one of the area’s last remaining independently owned real estate brokerages.
