Blast Off Otago – Premium Exterior Cleaning Across Dunedin & Otago
At Blast Off Otago, we’re not just in the business of cleaning houses — we’re in the business of restoring pride in your property. Based in Dunedin and proudly serving the wider Otago region, we offer professional and reliable exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial clients. Our services include house washing, water blasting, soft washing, concrete cleaning and sealing, roof treatments, deck and fence restoration, spouting and gutter cleaning, and drain unblocking — all tailored to the unique needs of Otago homes and businesses.
What Sets Us Apart?
What truly sets Blast Off Otago apart is our attention to detail, local knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Otago’s unique climate — cool winters, salt-laden coastal winds, and damp conditions — means that grime, mould, algae, and lichen can accumulate quickly on outdoor surfaces. We don’t offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we carefully assess every job and apply the right technique and equipment to deliver a result that is not only clean but long-lasting and safe for your surfaces.
We’re also proud to use eco-conscious techniques, minimising water waste and using biodegradable solutions when possible — especially during soft washing and roof treatments.
Our work speaks for itself — but more importantly, our customers do too, with glowing reviews from homeowners, landlords, and property managers across Dunedin, Mosgiel, Port Chalmers, Balclutha, Oamaru, Milton, and beyond.
About the Founder
Blast Off Otago was founded by a local Dunedin resident who saw a gap in the market for reliable, professional, and friendly exterior cleaning. Coming from a background in construction and trades, our founder combined hands-on experience with a strong understanding of what homeowners and property managers value: clear communication, punctuality, affordability, and top-quality results.
Starting with just a ute, a pressure washer, and a big vision, the business has rapidly grown thanks to a loyal client base, word-of-mouth referrals, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Today, Blast Off Otago operates as a trusted service provider across Otago, maintaining a strong focus on reliability and long-term relationships — not just one-off jobs.
Our Services in Detail
– House Washing (Soft and Pressure Wash Options): We gently remove years of grime, salt, mould, and dust from your home’s exterior. From weatherboard and plaster to brick and steel, we clean every surface safely and thoroughly.
– Concrete Cleaning & Sealing: Driveways, patios, pathways, and retaining walls all get a professional clean and optional seal to protect against future staining, water damage, and cracking.
– Roof Treatments & Moss Removal: Our soft wash roof treatments tackle moss, mould, and lichen at the root, preserving roof integrity and improving the appearance of your property.
– Spouting, Gutter & Drain Cleaning: Keeping your gutters and downpipes flowing freely can prevent costly water damage and drainage issues. We remove built-up debris and ensure everything’s working as it should.
– Fence & Deck Restoration: Weathered timber and vinyl surfaces are gently cleaned and brightened, bringing back their natural look without damage.
– Custom Jobs: From commercial building washes to post-construction cleanups, we’re always happy to take on tailored projects.
