We create high-quality, ethically made cycling gear that’s designed by women, for women, with thoughtful fits, inclusive sizing, and performance-driven fabrics that move with you. Our business started with a simple but powerful realisation: traditional cycling gear wasn’t made with real women’s bodies in mind. It was often tight, restrictive, unflattering, or just plain uncomfortable — especially for women in midlife or with curvier shapes. As a lifelong designer and passionate advocate for ethical manufacturing, I knew there had to be a better way. That’s how Birds on Bikes was born. Today, we manufacture all our products locally in Brisbane through our sister manufacturing arm, Ethical Edge Collective. We’re proud to be accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia, which means every garment is made by workers who are paid fairly and work under safe, legal conditions. Every piece of Birds on Bikes gear is designed in-house, pattern made with care, and sewn by our skilled team right here in Queensland.
