BADDogsInc Family Dog Training & Behavior

Our founder, Barbara Davis, CDBC, CPDT-KA, IAABC-ADT is the only dog behavior professional in the Inland Empire certified in both dog training and behavior modification by two different independent credentialling organizations, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and the Certification Counsel for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

All our dog trainers are certified by independent credentialing organizations to ensure their knowledge and skill meet high standards that have been set by the industry. We are certified Fear Free, and do not engage in harsh training methods that involve metal collars or shock devices of any kind.

Trainers at BADDogs specialize in working with families to resolve their dogs’ serious behavior problems. Over the years, we have worked with thousands of families and their dogs to achieve a harmonious life together. We have helped dozens of dog rescue organizations rehabilitate dogs to make them ready for adoption, and trained their volunteers and foster homes so they can continue working with other dogs on their own.

We have invested heavily in our puppy socialization and early learning programs. We know the vast majority of dog behavior problems we work would probably never have developed if the dog had the benefit of training from puppy through adolescence. Our puppy classes are fun, relaxed and informative, and are designed to give your young dog a great head start towards becoming a well-adjusted, and well-mannered companion.

Our conveniently scheduled group classes are flexible in format to ensure you get the most from each session. Our training approach is reward-based to ensure your dog stays fully engaged in the process, and willingly participates in the training process. We work hard to avoid the use of fear, pain, stress or any harsh methods that may result in harm to your dog, or your relationship with your dog. Whether it’s puppy socialization, basic through advanced obedience/manners, tricks or games and sports, our classes are fun, flexible and will help you learn all the skills you need to succeed in the easiest possible way.

Board and train is available in our Better Than Boot Camp program! Campers stay in the home of their trainer and are integrated into the household to the greatest extent possible. If your dog is aggressive towards people and/or other dogs, then that integration may not be possible. Becoming part of the family makes it easier for your dog to feel comfortable, included and really accelerates the training process. Boarding dogs who live in kennels take longer to adjust, experience higher levels of stress, and do not have the same full training experience as dogs who live in the trainer’s home. Because your dog is engaged with the trainer most of the day, they have more opportunities for learning, and learning in the context in which they live. Campers’ families receive daily photo and video updates which are loaded into a cloud-based file folder that can be accessed from anywhere.

We look forward to working with you to achieve your dog-training goals, from basic obedience and beyond! Follow us on social media; find us on FaceBook and Instagram at @baddogsinc
